Prices are subject to change without notice.
Delivery will take five working days from the date of order, if we have stock on hand. Otherwise delivery can take up to six weeks depending on the location of the supplier.
Electronic publications, ebooks and ejournals, are downloaded from this website.
Electronic publications, ebooks and ejournals, can be printed but we do not deliver a printed copy unless otherwise stated.
EA Books accepts responsibility for items damaged in transit within 14 days of the date on the delivery docket or invoice. Please notify us by email eabooks@engineersmedia.com.au or phone 02-9438 5355 if your ordered was damaged.
Please choose carefully as we do not refund. However, we will exchange or credit your EA Books account for items returned to us in original condition within 14 days of the date of the delivery docket. Some items include electronic media; if the seal is broken the item is not returnable. Return postage is your expense and we accept no responsibility until the item is delivered. We accept claims for non-delivered items up to 60 days from date of order.

Ebooks

Ebooks are electronic documents published as a copy-protected .pdc file. This is an encrypted Portable Document Format (.pdf file) protected from unauthorized viewing using third-party digital rights management software from LockLizard .
You must install the LockLizard License and Lizard Safeguard Viewer to view ebooks. You will receive both files in a second email, separate to your ‘Order Receipt Confirmation’ email.
The license is locked to a single computer and tracked by IP address.
The "Download Link" for an ebook is included in the ‘Order Receipt Confirmation’ email, directly beneath the product name.
All download links expire after 24 hours. Please save your electronic copy promptly after purchase.
Ebooks are permitted to be printed one time only. The ability to print the document is restricted thereafter.
Please choose carefully as we will not refund electronic purchases.

Ejournals

Ejournals are electronic documents published in Portable Document Format (.pdf file). For further information, visit www.adobe.com.
The download link for an ejournal is predominantly sent in a second email, separate from the ‘Order Receipt Confirmation’ email. This link allows the .pdf file to be saved to your desktop.

Magazines subscriptions

Subscription rates are subject to change without notice.
Delivery of your publication is aligned to its frequency.
Discounted subscriptions will be declined if you are not a subscription agency or student member of Engineers Australia. We will advise you as soon as possible of the applicable non discounted subscription rate.
Subscription cancellations will be refunded as soon as possible after receipt of written request.
Claims must be made strictly within 6 months of publication date.

Copyright Conditions

All ebooks and ejournals are copyright with all rights reserved.
The purchased ebook is for the exclusive use of the purchaser.
The purchaser is authorised to print a single hardcopy. The number of copies allowed is related to the number of times the user presses the print button and not the number of pages a user prints. You require an active internet connection to print.

Within Australia, postage and handling costs a flat-rate $11 including GST per order
There are three overseas options:
Regular Post $25 per order, delivery can take up to six weeks.
Courier: Door-to-door delivery within 4-5 Business days.*
Registered Post: 3-10 Business Days.*
Delivery times are dependent on stock availability. Titles with 'Delivery Period' are estimations only, not an exact delivery time.
